BATTERIES RECHARGED
St. Ouen's beach the wide open expanse of sand at low tide offers irresistible scope, especially when you have four legs!
The perfect place to burn off all of that pent up energy and excitement. It's a truly amazing thing to see the crew so energised and happy, Taka just like a puppy with boundless energy and Rolo at the furthest extent of his lead going round in circles flat-out, while the curly duo Jack and Winnie rough and tumble all the way to the shoreline.
You can bet your last dollar that when Taka sees the sea, in she'll go wading out, going for a dip to the others astonishment she barks “Come on in you don't know what you're missing” they investigate even my Ella doesn't venture forth. There is eerie piece about the beach today just us down here and of course the seabirds among which is a Canada Goose and a small flock of Dunlin gleaning their afternoon snack on the turning tide. The beach has taken on a new character after the weeks of heavy storm waters high sandbanks and ridges of gravel deposits make a striking beachscape exposing some of the prehistoric peat deposits are truly fascinating - What a special occasion another walk to stored in our memory bank.
