SHORT WINTER DAYS

There was definitely a hop skip to our stride today as the warm winter sunshine bathed the beach, we all felt uplifted. The previous days of high winds and storms had swept the beach clean of seaweed. We had the beach to ourselves as the "Curly Crew" took to the open space with glee, chasing off to the high water line for a sniff and of course a few wees!  Animals show their emotions so openly there was no restraint to their joy today, a real pleasure to see. But good things are sometimes short lived, as we turned back for home winds got up and we slipped back into winter.
