TOO HOT TO HANDLE!
The crews didn't know themselves this week as Leilani has been helping me for a few days she just loves the dogs especially Rolo who she chats to continuously.
We timed our walks today to allow for enough room on the beach before high tide to "ball run" the crew, this lifts the energy level of the walk/run as all compete for possession, they have to be fast out of the blocks to beat Ella to the ball, but now with her long fringe she sometimes misses the ball completely allowing one of the others to sneak in and grab it. Today was one of those and usually hot days for that time of year 18°, the dogs were cooking after dashing about, we reached our waypoint the water outlet at the end of the golf course. The sound of streaming water cascading from the outlet just what they needed, the perfect shower of fresh water under the shadow of the outlet wall, they rested and wallowed for some time, then into the sea to chase the ball again! The excitement level was high and the barking just didn't stop, Jack was almost in a frenzy even Winnie joined in waiting into the surf.
