Back to the dunes

SUMMER SNIFFING GROUNDS...

...IT'S GREAT TO BE BACK ON THE DUNES AFTER A FEW WEEKS AWAY.

Wednesday’s midday crew out in their element, heads down and scenting like mad! We followed one of our well trodden routes, across to the “rose-bowl dune” and up the 100 footer, over the back to the golf course and down the pine valley, with a broad sweep of the low rolling hillocks, back to the car park.

A wonderfully bright day with a breeze to blow away the cobwebs. The view from the top of the 100 footer looking across St. Ouen’s is always amazing whatever the weather, one of the island’s small peaces of wild landscape.
