STEPPING OUT WITH THE CURLY CREW

Gizmo and Rolo got their initial sniff intros out of the way through the bars of the cage in the van on their way to the beach, both seem to strike it off quite easily. On arrival I took Rolo and Gizmo out first to give them time together before the others joined us for full on fun and running.

It was great to see Gizmo join straight in, as we sprinted up the beach as a little group full of excitement and energy, dashing and chasing round each other. We slowed to a slow walk and sniff all the dogs greeted Gizmo one-by-one to the group and he settled right in. I'm really pleased we waited until he was at this age for his first walk with the group as it has made it a really smooth induction for him.

Ella worked really well today showing Gizmo the ropes giving him the confidence to settle in and see the type of behaviour that I wish to see, as both gizmo and Rolo are on extendable leads it was essential that they got on from the beginning and Ella was there to guide them through in her doggy way! She's a wonderful second in command and absolutely precious.
